Uprising Report from Director Bethany Yeo

Thank you for all of your support and help that contributed to the success of the forty days of prayer and fasting March 1- April 9. What an AMAZING journey! It was one of the most intense seasons of my life both challenging and rewarding. I am forever changed.

As we sustained twenty-four hour worship and prayer there were countless others praying and fasting nationally and internationally with united purpose. There were 3.5 million people who logged onto www.facedown40.org. This sight gave prayer directives, articles and devotionals for the forty days with a banner link to JHOPBoston.org. Many groups made a pilgrimage to Boston for a night, a weekend or a week to participate in the time of prayer. We had a core team of about 100 committed to the forty days. Most of the evening prayer gatherings we saw about 200 individuals gathering together of all ages, races and denominations joined for one purpose to seek the face of God for our Nation and our generation.

Now that the forty days are complete I am moving forward establishing and directing the long-term house of prayer. I am filled with such faith, vision and expectancy for what is ahead. I am convinced now more than ever of the urgency and necessity of the house of prayer to be established in Massachusetts. The mandate of the house of prayer is to close the door to false ideologies and contend for another great awakening.
